This service is aimed at people who have an interest in Aeroplanes from the early days of flying, through to the late 1940's and require an accurate source for drawings.
The information may be required for restoration work, construction of a full size replica, scale replicas for display purposes or flying scale models. In most cases, our drawing are based on contemporary production arrangement and detail drawings. Where information is indistinct or incomplete, cross-references are made to alternative drawing sources, photographs or actual aeroplanes.
Drawings are scanned into the computer and where necessary enhanced to achieve acceptable clarity. In many cases, they are converted into CAD format, either by the use of Raster to Vector software or by implanting the scanned image into a blank CAD drawing and 'tracing' it in. The price list covers paper prints but drawings may also be available for down-load in raster or CAD format, prices on application. We offer scanning, CAD drawing, CAD conversion processes and printing as separate services, not just for aeroplanes but for all types of drawings in engineering, architecture etc. |
